Moving

Yep its all happening this week!!!!!!!!!

The farm sale is finally happening ........settlement is happening this thursday
Very sad but it will be a new adventure in our lives and hopefully find something of our very own again one day soon
We finally found a new place .......like yesterday!
Only renting for a few months till we work out what we are doing

So as you can imagine life is feeling a little bit out of control
The house we are moving into is lovely
4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, on 1 acre
I wont want to move out of there!

Great news is i still get my craft room for a while........Wooooo Hooooooo!

So yeah i wont have a computer from Thursday for about a week .....how will i ever survive!!!!!!!!!!

Mum Update

Its been a while since ive updated on mum
They trialed the drug to try and shrink the lump but it hadnt really done anything
They also found more lumps
So next step they are now giving her Radiation which started 1.5 weeks ago which she will have for 6 weeks
So we are hoping very much that this will zap the little buggers out of there!!!!!!!
She is doing well but very very tired
I spoke to her the other day on the phone and she nodded off!
poor lovie
Didnt think i was that boring?

Craft room blitz!!!!!!!

The last few days ive been going crazy in my craft room sorting out and going through what i dont need any more
OMG!!!!!!
The reason for this is that we will be moving very soon and im not sure if i will have a craft room so i thought i had better cull it down a bit just in case........dont worry i have still got enough left to last 10 people a lifetime of scrapping!!!!!!!!

Retreat

What a totally awesome time we had!!!!!!!!!

Met Lisa on Thursday night and we caught a train to Penrith and stayed there
Woke up Friday morning and went and saw Mama Mia at the movies
It was so lovely as we havent done something like this for about 8 years!
Living so far away doesnt help!
The movie was great .....very funny .....except seeing 007 singing just doesnt look right or sound right!!!!
The lovely Belle met us and we headed out to Merroo for the retreat
So so wonderful to see everyone again!

The retreat was even better this year i think
The PJ parade was definetly a highlight and i took out the trophy this year with my stunning outfit......lol

2 amazing classes with Lisa and Belle.....thanks girls you are the bestest!
I didnt create a single thing all weekend but boy i shopped my ar$e off!

How much fun everyone had......lots of laughs, chocolate and tears when we left

Cannot wait till next year!!!!!!!!!!!

OMGOSH what an exciting week!!!!!

First of all while i was at the retreat i got a copy of Cardmaking, Stamping and Papercraft (Thanx Jane!) and my cards are in there!!!!!!

Let me tell you i was so excited i very nearly wet my pants!!!!!!!!




And then when i got home i went to the newsagents and the latest Creative Cardmaking and Papercraft was out and im in there too!!!!!!!!!!



At the start of this year i thought ok this is a year im gonna start submitting to the mags
Everyone else is so im going to as well

I have a few more cardsets coming up too so watch this space!!!!!!!

PS......IM EXCITED!!!!!!!!

Yep ive been so terrible lately havent i?
I may have been slack with my blogging but i have been busy!!!!!

Since my last post here ive been to Brissy and stayed with Shann and Lisa came up too
We had a fantastic time
The classes at the show were totally awesome!
I did three of the Maya Road ones and they were fantastic.......i must get those albums out and finish them:)
Great catching up with some friends at the show too!!!!!!
And also went to a 12 hour crop at a shop there and Kirsty one of my mates came along.....so nice to catch up again
It was great staying at Shanns place.......way too funny
We laughed we cried and of course ate too much chocolate but hey thats all the fun of it
Cant wait till next year ......thats if she will have us again!!!!!!

Ive been doing a fair bit of creating
So far this year i have had 4 sets of cards accepted and also done a challenge for mags so im pretty happy with that:)
Cant wait to see them in print!

Also been creating for LSBS

Alls well at home......school hols here at the moment and i just love it
We just came home from a camping trip
My goodness it was freezing in the night!!!!!!
Lovely to get away from the phone and people for a couple of days

Not too long till LSBS retreat so i can catch up with the girls again!
I cant wait

this last LO i did a while ago now

Jacob And Maddison

For months now our son Jacob has been learning old time dance at school
Him and his partner Maddison have been having a great time and have mastered the dances wonderfully
The darling Maddison is a dancer anyway so lucky Jacob has had someone good to learn from:)
On friday night was the night we have all been waiting for ....The Mr & Miss Mossman High formal Ball
They all got kitted out in suits and beautiful dresses and strutted their stuff in front of judges and family and friends
Maddison and Jacob made it to the final 4 which is totally fantastic and made me so proud!
Leah and i nearly deafened everyone with our cheers when their names were called out!!!!! lol
Tahlia (girl in the blue dress) and Kaine (good friends) were picked as Mr & Miss for 2008
To be picked out of so many great year 11 students is an great achievement

She just came up and spent wed - mon with me and it was so nice to just blob out together!

We got heaps of scrapping done and lot and lots of chatting and laughing!!!!!!!!

Isnt it just awesome to have friends that you can talk about absolutely anything and not feel like a total loser or be judged?
